We had stopped at a few pubs prior to being directed to the Ship Inn. We had a dog and we're looking for dinner on a Sunday night. I wish I could go back and shake the hand of the gentleman who recommended the Ship! The food was great and the service was better. The environment is comfortable and clean, and there is plenty of parking available.
Brilliant food and service. Portions were huge, well cooked and readonsble priced. Accidentally left my bag there and they kept it safe until I could return. Cannot fault the place! We will go back agsin when out that way.
just off the main road with loads of parking. Decent play area to the rear and plenty of benches in the garden.Friendly staff and a good menu. Ploughman's lunch was generous, fresh and tasty.Only dropped a star as the salt and pepper squid was tasteless and under seasoned.
Visiting area for few days. Read reviews of excellent food and was not disappointed. Had fish pie from specials board which was packed with salmon and prawns for 10.95. My bread and butter pudding was also perfect . All food very well presented too. To sum up excellent food for reasonable prices
Really nice pub. Popped in for family meal during last few days of summer hols. Clean and warm and food was really lovely. I had steak which was cooked to perfection and husband and son had steak burger which was well enjoyed. Staff polite and helpful. Would go again and would recommend to friends and family.
